How FindHeatPump Reviews Content and Directory Data
FindHeatPump helps homeowners organize heat-pump research and compare directory records. We separate source data from our own guidance, state what we have not verified, and keep weak or stale pages out of search until their evidence passes review.

What the directory does and does not prove
Directory profiles combine public business information and available listing fields. A record can help you find a business to investigate. It is not an endorsement, a completed background check, or a promise that the business serves your address.
Ratings, review counts, service labels, operating status, phone numbers, websites, and credentials can change. Confirm important details with the business and the relevant licensing, certification, manufacturer, utility, or program authority before signing a contract.
What our status labels mean
Listed
A business record appears in imported public or listing data.
Limit: It does not mean FindHeatPump confirmed identity, licensing, heat-pump experience, availability, or work quality.
Reported credential
A credential label is present in a source record.
Limit: Confirm the credential with the issuing organization and check its current status before hiring.
Reviewed
A dated human review record supports the specific item being described.
Limit: FindHeatPump does not display this status when the reviewer, scope, evidence, and review date are not maintained.
Licensed
A current licensing-authority source supports the stated license for the relevant trade and jurisdiction.
Limit: A generic imported flag, business category, or contractor statement is not enough.
Verified
A maintained verification process supports the exact attribute named next to the label.
Limit: FindHeatPump does not treat an imported verified field as proof of identity, licensing, credentials, availability, or service quality.
Editorial sourcing standard
Technical guides start with a single search intent and one canonical URL. Federal agencies, program administrators, standards organizations, licensing authorities, and current manufacturer documents are preferred for source-dependent statements.
Incentive, tax, equipment, performance, and price information receives a source date and a review deadline. A page is held back when evidence is missing, stale, contradictory, or unable to support a reader-visible statement. Software may assist research or drafting, but it cannot supply an unpublished citation, personal experience, reviewer identity, or credential.
Every released guide must have a defined intent owner, reader-visible citations, a relevant next step, and an overlap decision for similar pages. We merge or redirect competing pages instead of publishing several versions of the same answer.
Corrections and freshness
Send the page URL, the statement or business field that appears wrong, and an authoritative supporting source through the contact page. We review corrections against the source and change or remove unsupported information. We do not promise a response time or preserve a claim because it appeared in an older listing.
A visible review date is used only when a maintained review occurred. Deploy dates, sitemap inclusion, discovery, crawl, canonical selection, indexation, traffic, and conversions are recorded as separate events; none is inferred from another.
How pages enter search
- Assign one intent owner and decide whether older pages should remain, merge, redirect, or stay excluded.
- Check claims against current sources and record review and expiry dates.
- Test metadata, canonical URLs, robots directives, internal links, rendering, structured data, and the conversion path.
- Release a small cohort with a rollback action.
- Observe deployment, sitemap, discovery, crawl, indexation, query fit, and measured visitor actions before expanding.
